Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Babbel, you will:

• Collaborate with diverse teams to conceptualize, execute, and analyze A/B tests utilizing our robust experimentation platform.
• Develop and upgrade pipelines, tools, and dashboards to amplify our capabilities in experimentation.
• Offer expertise in statistical methodologies to our product analysts, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of best practices for experimentation methodologies across different departments.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques like meta-analyses and causal inference to drive critical business decisions.
• Generate significant insights that contribute to our evolving product knowledge base.

What We Look For

The ideal candidate will have:

• An advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Over three years of hands-on experience in data science, particularly with A/B testing and experimental data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, Python, and SQL.
• The ability to simplify complex data interpretations for stakeholders with varied technical backgrounds.
• A genuine enthusiasm for collaborative problem-solving and innovation.

Nice to have: Experience with A/B testing platforms or similar technologies.
