Data Scientist Remote / Hybrid with travel to our London or Plymouth office Shift is a rapidly expanding marketplace shaking up the logistics industry. We employ algorithms to align the van and truck availability of drivers already en route to offer consumers and businesses an avenue to transport anything, anytime, based on their timetable. For both customers and drivers, we create availability, convenience and efficiency. In light of significant existing and forthcoming growth, we are recruiting another Data Scientist to join our team. The opportunity as a Data Scientist: As a Data Scientist within a small team, you will have extensive ownership over your projects, from inception to productionisation. Responsibilities included as a Data Scientist: - Assisting with our Smart Routing project, which automatically devises optimal routes for hundreds of drivers daily - Using machine learning to fine-tune our pricing structure - Discovering new ways to implement machine learning across different sectors of the business - Productionising and maintaining machine learning models (we handle our own ML Engineering) What you need to bring to be successful as a Data Scientist at Shift: - A minimum of 2 years experience in any of the following roles: Data Scientist, ML Engineer, Data Engineer and/or Analyst.
