As our Data Scientist, you'll be a part of the data team that directly affects Gojek's GoFood. Your primary goal will be to create a significant business impact. Your closest collaborators will be the Business and Product Team. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your analytics and DS talents! What sets Gojek apart from other companies is the speed at which your analysis and insights can come to life and influence millions of customers and thousands of merchant partners.
What will you do:
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Engineers, and Product Managers to develop, deploy, and scale Data Science solutions for recommendation systems and Geospatial data.
- Develop ML solutions to better understand our customers' use-cases and requirements.
- Work with Product teams to continuously enhance the solutions to meet Gojek's evolving needs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to support business decisions.
What you will need:
- A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science, including work with Machine Learning (forecasting, clustering, statistical significance test, predictive modeling, and text mining).
- Proficiency in a programming language (either R, Python), and comfortable using SQL.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, and in team settings.
- Ability to use critical thinking daily to manage tasks while being goal-oriented.
Our GoFood Data team currently consists of around 25+ people based in India and Indonesia who run Southeast Asia’s leading online food delivery platform GoFood. We oversee all data-related operations and strive to be a thought partner for our Business Users, Product Team, and Decision Makers. Our mission is to ensure a structured approach to data-driven problems. Currently, we tackle one main question in our three-way marketplace: How to make our customers, drivers, and merchants happy and delighted?
