Job Description

The Generative AI team within our Group Data Science division is expanding. We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to help develop and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions derived from the latest research. This role involves collaborating across group functions to understand needs and identify opportunities where AI can drive significant advancements across diverse project areas, from chatbot development to document summarization and image generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement generative AI solutions to refine business strategies, improve customer experiences, and maintain our competitive edge.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, offering non-technical communication, guidance, and insights to boost the application of Data Science across the organization.
• Manage data sourcing and processing to support AI activities, ensuring quality and utilizing exploratory data analysis for AI readiness.
• Visualize model results and analytical outputs to uphold high standards through industry best practices.
• Collaborate with data professionals to automate and scale data science solutions, ensuring robust documentation and quality assurance through peer reviews.
• Stay current by reading and applying insights from Generative AI research to address real-world business challenges.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For:

• Holder of a degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experienced in handling large datasets with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in various Machine Learning and Generative AI techniques and tools.
• Skilled in data manipulation and transformation using SQL, and in developing Machine Learning models using Python.
• Capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and guide project direction.
• Practical experience in commercial or advanced research settings in developing Machine Learning or Generative AI models.
