Role Overview 

As the ideal Data Scientist, you are an individual capable of delving deep into the technical aspects and effectively communicating with others. You take pleasure in transforming disordered data into a sleek solution, and enlightening others about the potential of their data. This role presents an opportunity to greatly influence how businesses function and make decisions daily.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself into a variety of data (tabular, text, image, etc.) to pinpoint issues and deliver data-driven insights to our clients.
• Employ analytical techniques to identify areas of opportunity to help achieve business objectives.
• Use GCP services to train and deploy ready-made (Vertex AI/AutoML/BQML) or custom models to solve a client’s business issue.
• Be a thought leader for your team on projects and contribute to essential practice initiatives.
• Adopt the role of subject matter expert on pre-sales calls and proposals. 
• Steer the successful delivery of analytics solutions.
• Prepare reports and presentations that demonstrate the value of your solution to our clients.
• Collaborate with other members of the data science team to establish a center of excellence and create standard operating procedures, accelerators, and sales assets.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in data science.
• 2+ Years programming in Python (preferred) and R. 
• 2+ Years’ Experience in SQL.
• Awareness of Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git/Github.
• Experience with Big Data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark/Pyspark, Dask, Hive).
• Experience in developing Machine Learning models and using Deep Learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch.
• Ability to convey complex, technical procedures to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Ability to monitor changing business needs and deliver high-quality solutions independently and in collaboration with teams of diverse skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a similar field. 

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• Experience with Generative AI is an advantage.
