Role Overview: What You’ll Do

  • Analyze data to influence product roadmaps and drive business results.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods to model user behavior and assess new features.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop implementable solutions.
  • Evaluate product experiments to enhance user experiences.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support a culture of fact-based decision making as we scale.
  • Ensure the quality and improvement of our data collection processes.

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of consumer digital products and interest in applying analytics to business outcomes.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, computer science, etc.) with an expected graduation by Fall 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025.
  • Experience in analyzing large datasets and communicating results.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and/or statistical methods for data analysis.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative Data Science team.
  • Willingness to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA, or New York, NY.

Preferred Qualifications: Exceptional Candidates

  • Experience with big data and cloud computing technologies like BigQuery, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into data-driven product recommendations.
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning new techniques and mentoring others.

Compensation

We post a multi-level salary range for all roles. This range does not include our complete benefits package, which features equity compensation and numerous other perks. Salary ranges are consistent across all U.S. locations. The specific salary within this range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Your recruiter can provide more details.

Salary Range:

$125,000—$135,000 USD
