Your Focus

• Acquire and process unique data, from first-party sources, licensed data purchases, or web scraping.
• Transform data creatively to engineer valuable features.
• Utilize advanced machine learning libraries such as XGBoost to implement cutting-edge predictive models.
• Create standardized documentation to streamline model development and operational execution.
• Work alongside domain experts and data science colleagues to discover and seize opportunities for model enhancements.
• Handle vast datasets, ensuring consistency and integration across multiple sources to craft influential model variables.
• Stay abreast of the latest machine learning technologies and industry best practices in Data Science.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer complex business questions.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of top-tier educational programs or demonstrating high potential is preferred.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field or computer science is advantageous.
• Solid background in statistical analysis, forecasting, and optimization algorithms with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL coding is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and ‘big data’ architectures.
• Experience in a cloud computing environment and with streaming data is highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a flair for data analytics and model creation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering relationships across the organization.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, maintaining integrity standards mandated by regulatory frameworks.
