Job Description - Data Scientist I

About the Role:

Arcfield is seeking enthusiastic entry-level data scientists to enhance our Modeling and Simulation Analysis team. This team is instrumental in the development of geo-intelligence (GEOINT) remote sensing systems. As a Data Scientist, you will be pivotal in evolving sophisticated engineering models, employing diverse datasets and sources to perform predictive analysis of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform data mining and analysis to support innovation and solve technical challenges.

- Utilize statistical methods and perform predictive analytics to analyze performance data.

- Develop and deploy automated scripts and programs using Python, C/C++, or Fortran.

- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet project goals.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.

- Up to 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R.

- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in technical challenges.

- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
