Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist II to join our team in the DMV area, with potential placements in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. This role is ideal for those seeking to contribute to critical national security measures and engage in complex problem-solving scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced data analysis and modeling on complex datasets to promote data-driven decision-making within the organization.
• Evaluate, optimize, and/or develop models tailored to the mission set of the customer.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business owners, Data Engineers, and other IT stakeholders.
• Implement statistical models and provide actionable insights to optimize business processes.
• Collaborate with other Data Scientist IIs and receive guidance from senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• At least two (2+) years of related experience.
• Applicable professional certifications such as CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or CNDA must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Vendors tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements, like Oracle and Mongo.

Clearance Requirements:

This position requires an active Top Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time and must be able to communicate effectively with peers and senior personnel. Regular operation of office productivity machinery, such as a computer, is essential.
