Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist III at ManTech, you will:

• Develop and manage data science strategies and implementations.
• Stay connected with the data science community to integrate the latest technologies and methodologies into your projects.
• Act as a key authority on data science, providing hands-on leadership in the creation and optimization of models using diverse datasets such as text, speech, images, and video.
• Supervise and mentor team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, ECND, SSCP) should be obtained within six months of start date.

Candidates lacking a degree must have an additional four years of experience, whereas those with an Associate degree must have an additional two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be advantageous to have:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Vendor tool certifications aligned with TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB).

Clearance and Physical Requirements

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The position involves mostly stationary work and frequent communication with team members and stakeholders.
