We are actively seeking experienced Data Scientists to become integral members of our dynamic team at Latitude. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your expertise in data management and analytical skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

Data Management: Apply extensive knowledge of essential policies to develop data standards, processes, and procedures to significantly enhance data mining and data warehousing programs. This includes tasks such as data collection, cleaning, conversion, and standardization of complex datasets for thorough analysis.

Hypothesis Testing: Lead hypothesis testing by utilizing sophisticated statistical processes and quantitative techniques to ensure the validity of source data and derive strategic insights from large-scale datasets.

Collaboration: Proactively work with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design applications that integrate data from various disparate sources into a unified view using state-of-the-art technologies.

Capacity Management: Manage anticipated changes in enterprise data capacity requirements and effectively allocate storage resources in the design of new data management systems and architectures.

Technical Support: Partner with DHS HQ and/or Component experts to provide both technical and non-technical support to collect metrics and trending data through enterprise data management systems.

Data Visualization: Utilize advanced data visualization tools to design informative charts and graphical representations. These tools are essential for providing actionable recommendations to critical leadership officials and stakeholders.

Complex Data Analysis: Employ a variety of tools and methodologies to analyze and interpret complex datasets, uncovering new patterns and behaviors to offer actionable information to decision-makers.

Scalable Architecture: Lead the development and maintenance of scalable database architectures and data processing systems, ensuring long-term stability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience: Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree with 12 years of relevant experience.

Clearance: Must have TS/SCI FSP Clearance.

Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with source control mechanisms/tools.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to convey complex technical subjects to team members and Senior Management.

Problem-Solving Abilities: A genuine passion for solving complex problems in operational environments, along with the ability to execute test plans dynamically.
