About the Role: Data Scientist III - Partner Product Analytics and Experimentation

The Partner PAX team at Expedia Group plays a critical role in enabling our product and technology partners to make data-informed decisions. This is achieved through our expertise in data discovery, experimentation, and advanced analytics, focusing on predictive and prescriptive solutions. Within Partner PAX, our Media Solutions (MeSo) PAX team supports the advertising organization, connecting brands with our highly engaged travel shoppers.

As a Data Scientist III, you will be instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to optimize product performance and develop strategies that enhance user experiences and promote growth across the EG business. Our MeSo team offers 20 unique advertising solutions, ranging from sponsored listings across Expedia Group brands to social media sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your expertise in data modeling, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Develop metrics frameworks, build dashboards, and generate reports that are accurate and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with the product team on goal setting, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Engage with various departments like Engineering, Product, and Finance to resolve business issues and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Design and analyze A/B or multivariate tests to enhance learning and recommend new product features.

Who You Are:

  • With at least 3 years of data science experience, you have a robust background in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, or engineering.
  • Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, and familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
  • You're a curious, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about analytics and problem-solving.

Salary and Benefits

The position is based in Seattle with a total cash range of $137,500.00 to $192,500.00 annually. Performance can increase total compensation up to $220,000.00. We offer a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and significant travel discounts.
