Role Overview

In this vital capacity, you will be working closely with key stakeholders including senior vice presidents, directors, and managers across different factions of Expedia brands to deliver actionable insights that drive revenue, increase profitability, and enhance product adoption. Your expert analyses will support strategic decisions and contribute to the optimization of our cutting-edge technology products used worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide team members in developing advanced analytical models, conducting opportunity analysis, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify and implement enhancements to optimize both top-line and bottom-line growth through strategic product and technology projects.
• Perform rigorous statistical analyses to evaluate the impact of new initiatives on various business metrics.
• Design and maintain dynamic dashboards to monitor and visualize performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Assess potential revenue risks associated with new product launches or tech developments and recommend mitigating strategies.
• Strengthen and expand your professional relationships while positioning yourself as a subject matter expert in product and technology analytics.
• Effectively represent the PLS Analytics team in critical stakeholder meetings, ensuring broad analytical perspectives are well communicated and considered.

Who You Are

• Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an analytical role, preferably within sectors like online travel, e-commerce, banking, or other data-rich environments.
• Strong foundation in statistical understanding and its application to solving real-world commercial challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills with prowess in distilling complex analysis into digestible and actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability to drive understanding and strategy through deep data analysis and insight in an online context.
• Energetic team player with a passion for technology and travel.
