Data Scientist, Infrastrategies Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Meta, you will:

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to enhance Meta's infrastructure.
• Utilize quantitative analysis and data mining to optimize and scale our infrastructure efforts across diverse domains.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define project priorities, developing strategic roadmaps in partnership with various teams.

• Coordinate projects effectively to amplify impact and streamline efforts without redundancy.

Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for the Data Scientist role, you require:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or relevant fields.
• At least one year of professional experience in a role involving:
  • Complex data set mining and quantitative analysis.
  • Data querying with SQL.
  • Scripting with Python.
  • Applied statistics or real-world experimentation (e.g., A/B testing).
  • ETL processes and working with relational databases.
