Job Description

As part of the expansion of the Data Science team, we are looking for a Data Scientist Intern. Supported by our Lead Business, you will work on the design of Machine Learning algorithms directly applicable to the key businesses of showroomprive.com.

You will join a team on a human scale and your tasks will be as follows:

• State of the art techniques of Machine Learning for forecasting.

• Modeling, prototyping and validation of algorithms

• Presentation of used methods and results with pedagogy

• Production-ready pipelines and trained models

• Monitoring of the performance of models in production

Qualifications

You have an Engineering degree or equivalent (Master's level) in Computer Science, Statistics or Data Science, and you have a first experience in a similar position.

Key skills:

• Proficiency in Python language and usual libraries in the data scientist job (pandas, scikitlearn, scipy, xgboost, tensorflow etc…)

• Fluent in SQL and capable of querying large amounts of data

• Strong knowledge of different Machine Learning algorithms

• Experience in a Cloud environment is a plus

Additional Information

The position is to be filled as an internship for a 6-month period beginning in January 2024 at our premises in Plaine Saint-Denis.
