Job Description

The Data Scientist plays a pivotal role in advancing our analytical capabilities to drive better business decisions and operational efficiency. You will partner with our Internal Audit team to address diverse business requirements through sophisticated data analysis and modeling.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will:

  • Assess client needs to identify opportunities for analytical solutions within our Internal Audit processes.
  • Develop detailed analytical briefs outlining project methodologies, key data sources, and expected analyses outcomes.
  • Create and implement custom use cases, translating complex results into actionable business insights.
  • Utilize advanced tools like SAS, Python, and AWS to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Construct and maintain predictive models and develop new analytics applications and visualizations.
  • Employ data mining techniques and algorithm development to enhance product offerings and business strategies.
  • Communicate technical and business aspects of analytical solutions to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Required: Degree in Math/Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, with supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, AWS, Teradata, and Teradata Studio.
  • Experienced in predictive modeling, data mining, and analytical techniques applied to business management, marketing, and operations.
