We are looking to hire 3 Data Scientists who will support our Data Science & Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE). In this critical role, you will create and enhance generative AI and machine learning solutions to develop valuable data products that contribute to our strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with large datasets and learning new technologies, such as Generative AI. You should be a self-starter capable of communicating with both business and technical audiences. You should also be comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big while paying attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment that supports Kerry’s Digital Transformation journey.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy. Candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to next-generation data-driven projects in a global environment.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques and generative AI to create value for Kerry.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor, analyze, and improve model performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Data Engineering and BI & Insights teams.
  • Innovate by exploring new technologies and pushing boundaries.
  • Ensure that operational delivery meets customer expectations with respect to time and quality.

Requirements for Success

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Mandatory experience in creating and improving machine learning models using Databricks; experience with MLflow and generative AI is a plus.
  • Proficient in programming languages like Python or R for creating ML models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination. The ability to present data and make recommendations to senior-level partners, even in ambiguous situations.
  • A strong drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
