Job Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will work with large data sets to understand the changing geopolitical and tactical military landscape. You will use data mining and analysis methods, tools, algorithms, and simulations to create models for various applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create automated collection models, dynamic analytic models, and workflow automation.
• Improve the performance of automated solutions through data evaluation and customer interaction.
• Apply data science and visual programming to support and streamline analysis tasks.
• Engineer technical solutions for intelligence integration, automated collections, and information sharing.
• Conduct extensive data processing, data mining, visualization, and gap analysis on existing technologies.
• Communicate data-driven findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Train and integrate new tools, processes, and capabilities for collection orchestration.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proficiency in geospatial software applications and tools such as Python, SQL, Git, AWS, ESRI ArcGIS, TensorFlow, and more.
• 5 years of relevant experience and some college education.
• Active DoD TS/SCI Personal Security Clearance.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight and lead smaller teams.
• Excellent tradecraft application and collaborative skills.

Security Responsibilities

You must comply with all company security and data protection policies. Proper handling and marking of all information and materials is required. Disclosure of information to unauthorized individuals is prohibited.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
