This position is designed for a dedicated professional committed to excellence and innovation in the field of data science and insider threat detection.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level Data Scientist at PeopleTec, you will:

• Develop and support an insider threat strategy to protect and secure CDAO technical offerings.
• Lead the coordination of policies and strategies on insider threats with industry partners and other Department of Defense (DoD) components.
• Explore relevant data sources for effective measurement, identification, and defense against insider threats.
• Provide technical leadership in developing detection capabilities for insider threats using advanced data science methodologies.
• Document strategic approaches to insider threat defense in alignment with broader DoD protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel, possibly to hazardous duty areas.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A strong foundation in computer science or a related technical field. Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

Desired Skills:

• Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and deep learning particularly in anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in Jupyter, Spark, and frameworks like Tensorflow or PyTorch.
• Prior technical leadership roles and exceptional technical writing abilities.
• Experience in insider threat detection, fraud detection or anti-abuse engineering is advantageous.
