About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, Monetization at Meta, you will:

• Work with large and complex data sets to resolve a wide range of challenging problems using analytical and statistical methods.
• Apply technical expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and experimentation to develop strategies that enhance Meta's products.
• Measure and monitor product success through goal setting, forecasting, and key metric analysis.
• Identify and test opportunities to improve products and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support and execute product strategy and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading analytics in an IC capacity, collaborating with Engineering and cross-functional teams, and driving data-influenced product planning and strategy.
• Proven experience in working effectively with multiple stakeholders, including Engineering, PM/TPM, Analytics, and Finance teams.
• Strong framing and communication skills, and the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference methods.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $206,000/year to $281,000/year
