Job Overview: Join our Model Risk Management group as a Data Scientist where you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our models. You'll work with different teams to evaluate, validate, and improve AI and ML models that cater to our clients' needs and assist consumers in achieving their financial goals. Job Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough analysis and validation of various models used across the organization. - Develop and implement strategies to identify, quantify, and reduce model risks. - Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance model performance, interpret results, and provide actionable insights. - Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex data sets. - Contribute to the design and execution of model testing and monitoring processes. - Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines regarding model risk management. - Work with a team of innovative data scientists to automate parts of Model Risk Management and develop solutions to improve efficiency and quality. Required Experience and Skills: - Understanding of key business and risk KPIs for retail banking products. - 1-3 years' experience in BFSI analytics, implementing models, big data, and cloud solution architecture. - Experience in credit risk model development is preferred. - Proficiency in SQL/Python coding is a must. - Experience in regulatory model development, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL), stress testing & IFRS9, is advantageous. - Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to model risk management is a plus. - Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. - Highly analytical with team working experience. - Self-motivated with high energy levels and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - In-depth understanding of business & risk. - Adaptability to work in project-based engagements with different types of banking clients.
