Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

• Construct and enhance custom Data Science and Engineering solutions for our clients
• Expand and cultivate your data science and engineering knowledge among specialists in our learning and development ecosystem 
• Deliver high-quality, best practice software solutions 
• Utilize a variety of architectures, tools, and frameworks 
• Have the opportunity to learn and earn certification in new technologies 
• Suggest, implement and share knowledge of new ideas and innovations 
• Work as part of a dynamic team 
• Propose, create and deliver content towards our L&D ecosystem 
• Provide technical and/or people leadership to juniors with opportunities for management training 
• Create clean and efficient solutions based on specifications 
• Liaise with clients 

Qualifications

Experience and skills required:

• Minimum 2+ years Python experience in Data Science and Engineering 
• In-depth knowledge across data science and engineering and software delivery
• Experience in development and delivery of data-driven application(s) and solution(s) 
• Capable of task estimation, proactive and autonomous 
• Firm understanding of SDLC, agile and appropriate tooling 
• Breadth of L3 support experience 
• Outstanding communication skills across peers, leadership, and clients; both technical and business 

Experience and skills desired*:

*However, don't discount yourself if you have not yet had the opportunity to develop these skills

• Development of applications in the financial services and/or consultancy industry 
• Experience with time series data is beneficial
• Experience in mentoring and coaching from a technical and/or managerial perspective
