Deutsche Bank is seeking a talented Data Scientist to become an integral part of our Quantitative Research & Development Lab within the Group Strategic Analytics in London. This exciting role offers the chance to work at the junction of the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and the dynamic world of sales and trading.

Your New Role

As a foundational member of this newly established team, you will:

• Develop and implement quantitative data-driven machine learning models and tools to support front office sales and trading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives, formulate business cases, and establish key performance indicators.
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects from inception through to maintenance, ensuring long-term success and scalability of solutions.
• Provide leadership in project management and strategic direction within the team.

Your Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven expertise in Deep Learning and/or Natural Language Processing with a strong foundation in statistical and mathematical principles.
• Experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles in a research or applied setting.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, C++, or Kdb/q is beneficial.
• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
