About the Role:
Embedded within Talan’s "Operational Intelligence" domain, we are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our Data Science/Artificial Intelligence team. This domain includes over 50 experts in areas such as Big Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, and AI Engineering, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency through complex data exploitation incorporating IoT, AI, Data Science, and Big Data.
Our Key Projects:
- Industry 4.0: Predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring
- 360 Vision: Customer segmentation, churn detection, client scoring
- Behavior Analysis: Fraud detection, money laundering
- Predictive Sales and Consumption
- Computer Vision: Image and video analysis
- Text Mining, NLU/NLP
We partner with both IT departments and business units, operating in fixed-price or time-and-material modes.
Job Responsibilities:
Your Role:
- On Projects:
- Analyze business needs
- Define data collection and processing methods
- Select Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
- Apply data processing and visualization techniques
- Present analysis and results to business stakeholders and sponsors
- Pre-Sales: Participate in fixed-price proposal responses
- Communication: Write articles and host events
Your Contribution at Talan:
- Benchmark solutions and provide technology adoption advice
- Develop Proof of Concepts (POC)
- Contribute to internal projects and share knowledge within the team
- Deliver internal training sessions

Qualifications:
Your Profile:
- Graduate from a top engineering school/Ph.D. specialized in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence
- At least 7 years of experience in the field
- Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
- Proficiency in data management and DataViz
- Skilled in Python, R, SQL, pySpark, Spark, NoSQL
- Highly autonomous, organized, with a sharing mindset
- Excellent communication skills
