Our R&D Software teams, located in the heart of the Alps, develop advanced products and solutions that converge Artificial Intelligence and Supercomputing to drive technological breakthroughs towards the Exascale era.

Meet the Team

Within the R&D group, the Proactive Maintenance team, led by Product Owner Raphaël Thomas who boasts over a decade of team management experience, designs software solutions for predicting failures in our supercomputers. The team specializes in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data components, and HPC technologies, delivering a comprehensive AI solution in the form of software products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop AI models for our various collaborations. You will contribute to the enhancement of our Machine Learning component, improving its performance and scalability. Working iteratively and agilely, you will participate in the architecture and development of our predictive engine to make it scalable, evolving it to meet our diverse use cases. Current models focus on behavioral analysis for complex distributed systems and advanced supervised models for predictive analysis of computational node interconnection networks. In the Exascale perspective, we aim to optimize these models to manage the entirety of a supercomputer.

Your Profile for Success

  • BAC+5 in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent
  • Strong skills in Python
  • Significant experience with Python statistical libraries like NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, and a Deep Learning library (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Comfortable with a virtualized work environment under Linux
  • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment (familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies)
  • Analytical, creative, and problem-solving mindset
  • Professional proficiency in English
