About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Scientist to enhance our Marketing Decision Science department. Your expertise will inform data-driven strategies for paid media efforts and web digital channels, allowing us to optimize marketing campaigns and create predictive models. Collaborate with a dynamic team to automate processes and ensure data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Modeling & Analytics

Develop, validate, and implement predictive models. Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to optimize channel and campaign performance. Communicate model outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Data Collection & Integration

Capture and integrate vast datasets from varied sources. Maintain data pipelines for timely and accurate data availability. Ensure data integrity through regular audits and validations.

Data Analysis & Interpretation

Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to advise strategic decisions.

Quality Assurance & Best Practices

Collaborate with data engineers to establish data governance. Regularly review data processes for improvements and stay updated with industry trends.

Dashboard Development

Build sophisticated dashboards that provide actionable insights. Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessible.

Partner Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing teams to understand objectives. Communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders and simplify them for non-technical audiences.

Leadership and Mentorship

Initially an individual contributor role, this position has the potential to grow into a leadership role within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in data science and data analytics.
  • Expertise in web analytics platforms, especially Google Analytics (certification preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and machine learning methodologies.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience in presenting complex problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of B2B sales processes and datasets.
  • Experience in lead technical roles and Salesforce products.
  • Experience with ETL platforms like dbt.

Additional Information

For California-based roles, the base salary range for this position is $192,900 to $265,200. Compensation is determined by factors such as location, skill level, and experience. Eligible roles may receive incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. More details can be found at .
