Data Scientist - TS/SCI at Xcelerate Solutions

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists, software developers, network engineers, senior investigators, program managers, researchers, and data analysts to design, build, and optimize a Data Science platform.
- Analyze a variety of big data related to national security, cyber security, business intelligence, online social media, human behavior, and more.
- Support multiple simultaneous projects and independently make discoveries that are mission-relevant. Communicate findings to a non-technical audience.
- Utilize your blend of intellectual curiosity, quantitative acumen, and customer-focus to identify novel data sources, improve predictive algorithm performance, and promote user adoption of data analytics platforms.
- Leverage your background in research design, exploratory analysis, quantitative methods, and customer outreach to solve complex problems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12-15 years of experience or Master’s with 10-13 years of relevant experience in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or Computational Social Science.
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative intelligence analysis with progressive technical development.
- Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as R or Python.
- Experience working with hybrid teams of analysts, engineers, and developers to build and deploy complex algorithms and analytical platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics or big data research and development.
- Strong background in problem-solving and active learning.
- Ability to analyze software development or data acquisition requirements and find cost-effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data analytics supporting military or intelligence community customers.
- Experience dealing with data classes such as open source, PAI, forensic media, MASINT, or cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of technology like knowledge graphs, databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with AWS/C2S and optimizing machine learning software for GPU use.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and prototype web applications using technologies like Kibana, Apache Superset, Streamlit, Gradio, and Plotly Dash.
- Ability to write REST and gRPC APIs using technologies such as FastAPI or Flask.
