Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Data Scientist who is deeply passionate about analyzing and optimizing aircraft operations through advanced data. With a core focus on statistical analysis, machine learning, and data integration, you will play a crucial role in transforming insights into actionable strategies. You will handle time-series data, uncover market dynamics, and build predictive models to anticipate trends and demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and preprocess time-series and diverse data from multiple sources like S3, Redshift, MySQL, APIs, and more.
• Develop algorithms to identify market trends and competitive shifts, collaborating with senior data scientists and experts.
• Detect data anomalies, working closely with the team to explore their causes, and build models to forecast future trends.
• Apply machine learning techniques to enhance data efficiency and oversee the integration of models into production for real-time analytics.
• Effectively communicate complex analyses and insights to stakeholders through visual data representation and reports.

About You

You have proven experience as a Data Scientist, skilled in SQL, Python, or R, and familiar with data frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Your expertise extends to handling both structured and unstructured data, with a strong grasp of statistical methods and machine learning techniques. Knowledge in airline pricing, revenue management, and related fields, alongside an academic background in Computer Science, Statistics or similar is desirable.
