Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Tecsa, you will develop algorithms and models to support our global portfolio of clients. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in tasks such as:

• Developing models to evaluate and predict consumer purchasing behavior based on detailed transaction histories.
• Segmentation and clustering of consumers.
• Evaluating campaign performance using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Building dashboards and visualizations to clearly communicate relevant business information.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience in using data and analytics to understand and optimize customer propositions and journeys.
• Experience and creativity in designing personalized propositions and customer engagement solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
• 2+ years of industry experience in a data analytics role, preferably in Retail, Consumer Goods, or Financial Services.

Desirable Skills

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science or a STEM-related field.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment within a geographically distributed team.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to ask probing questions to uncover issues.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Technically curious, self-motivated, versatile, and solution-oriented.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
