Your Role and Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is pivotal and directly impacts the revenue streams at Corpay. Your responsibilities will include:

Data Strategy

• Developing and implementing data science strategies that align with our business objectives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data and driving business outcomes

Model Development

• Developing and deploying predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Ensuring models are accurate, scalable, and contribute to business goals

Data Analytics and Management

• Sorting through structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate their needs into analytical solutions
• Driving data quality and compliance

Business Intelligence & Dashboards

• Delivering automated, production-level dashboards across various organizational levels
• Consuming data from multiple sources and presenting key insights succinctly

Collaboration

• Collaborating with product, marketing, and sales teams for data-driven decision-making
• Working closely with IT and engineering teams to implement scalable data solutions

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate Degree (Master’s desirable but not essential) in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.)
• 1-3 years of experience in data science
• Superior analytical skills and statistical modeling proficiency
• Experience in the lodging or hospitality industry is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency with relational databases, SQL, R, and Python
• Experience with data lake solutions (e.g., AWS)
• Strong knowledge of Tableau and experience building production-level dashboards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset

How We Work

This role will be based out of our Chennai office, with an expectation to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay provides all the equipment you will need to be successful in this role.

Working Hours: 12-9:30 PM IST
