Job Description:

Visa is seeking a skilled Data Visualization Engineer to manage and deliver large-scale BI projects. This role includes designing, developing, and deploying impactful BI solutions:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into technical visualization requirements.
• Data Visualization Design and Development: Create advanced, data-driven dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and other tools.
• BI Solutions Development: Implement user-friendly dashboards and reports that enhance decision-making and provide insights.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data and visualizations through comprehensive testing and QA practices.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for technical requirements, specifications, and BI solutions.
• Training and Support: Offer training and support to users on new BI tools and reports.
• Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Lead and coordinate with other teams to manage projects and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder data visualization needs.

This hybrid role requires alternating work between remote settings and our office, with an expectation to be on-site 2-3 days per week, or more as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA).
• Experience in financial services or payments industry preferred.
• Proven track record working in a team of data engineers.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in data visualization, particularly Tableau.
• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation languages.
• Experience with wireframing, UI/UX design, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL techniques, and additional scripting in Python or R is beneficial.
