As a key member of the Data Science Center of Expertise (DSCOE), the Data Science Senior Advisor leads and enables initiatives for the Clinical Data Science team. The ideal candidate will display expertise in Data Science, technical skills, leadership, scoping & impact, and influence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support high-value enterprise Data Science initiatives
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in deep learning
  • Create specific project goals aligned with deliverables
  • Identify opportunities, goals, solutions, and timeline changes with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with technical and business partners
  • Deliver presentations for both technical and business audiences independently
  • Mentor and support junior Data Science team members

Qualifications Required

  • Strong proficiency in Machine Learning and Statistical Methodology
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Theoretical and practical expertise in deep learning
  • Experience building and deploying deep learning models
  • Proficiency with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
  • Thorough understanding of ML lifecycle, including tradeoffs and risks
  • Ability to promote best coding practices and thorough documentation
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end
  • Experience working and influencing cross-functionally
  • Knowledge of healthcare data preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We anticipate an annual salary of $121,400 - $202,400, varying based on experience and location. This role also participates in an annual bonus plan.
