The Role: Deployment Team Data Scientist

As a vital member of the Deployment Team, our new Data Scientist will pioneer extensive supplier illumination and supply system mapping projects. Your expertise will guide the development of innovative solutions tailored to our clients' unique challenges, directly enhancing the proactive defense of critical supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead innovative product deployment efforts, focusing on supplier illumination and system-supplier mapping.
• Collaborate with clients to gather specific program requirements and craft customized solutions.
• Conduct detailed analyses on defense, space, and adjacent markets, understanding supply chain dynamics and vendor operations.
• Enhance strategic partnerships, identifying data gaps and developing robust solutions.
• Deepen knowledge of adversarial supply chains through network graph developments and comprehensive market relationships studies.

What We Look For:

• A pronounced interest in the intersection of national security, business, and technology particularly concerning adversarial industrial bases.
• Proactive, independent problem-solving skills and the ability to formulate solutions to broad client challenges.
• Extensive research background focused on Chinese industrial capacities, utilizing Mandarin linguistic skills for advanced data analysis and network modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and other data science tools, with a keen interest in advancing technical abilities.
• Strong communication skills for leading client interactions and product demonstrations.
• Dedication to personal growth, quality work, and team wellbeing.

Preferred Competencies:

• Solid foundation in defense contracting or supply chain management.
• In-depth knowledge of the aerospace, defense, and federal government sectors.
• Advanced competency in data science, especially in managing and analyzing large datasets.
• Expertise in developing network graphs and extracting actionable insights through graph analytics.
