Job Summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to develop, configure, and maintain HW Design data management applications. Responsible for tools essential to workspace and configuration management, this role demands a tech-savvy, independent individual with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. This opportunity is based in Bangalore/Noida, India, offering a multicultural environment and personal development in industry-relevant technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide support to the designer community by managing tickets raised by NXP designers.
• Create new DesignSync vaults and servers upon request from the design community.
• Monitor and maintain DesignSync vaults and servers, ensuring smooth operation for designers.
• Manage planned maintenance activities by starting and stopping DesignSync servers.
• Upgrade existing servers to the latest versions.
• Automate application setups, installations, required configurations, and patch updates.
• Develop and deploy new functionalities for the DesignSync platform.
• Maintain and improve automated application test suites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BE/BTech) or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in design data management and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Java and Perl programming languages.
• Experience with AWS application setup and management.
• Previous experience as a configuration manager in a design team is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Design Data Management processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven English communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with customer-oriented support and proactive issue management in an international environment.
