Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development using programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
• 7+ years of experience in research or applied AI within software development or related fields.
• 7+ years of familiarity with machine learning algorithms and tools like deep learning, natural language processing, TensorFlow.
• 5+ years of experience in software product design, architecture, testing, and launch.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in prompt engineering.
• Experience with deep learning/LLM-based products or platforms.
• Active participant in research communities with papers published in prestigious ML and NLP conferences (ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP).
• Exceptional programming skills.

About the Position:

As a Developer AI Staff Engineer, you will be pivotal in leading research and applied AI efforts to develop and utilize Generative AI models that revolutionize software development workflows. Collaborate with various internal teams, including Developer AI Applied Research and Google partner teams (e.g., Search, Ads, Cloud, YouTube) to conceptualize, develop, and launch new Generative AI capabilities enhancing developer operations.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive salary range of $189,000 to $284,000, based on the role, level, and location. This base salary range is supplemented with bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
