Your Role

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver customer-loved products
• Leverage technologies including Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, and Spark to extract insights from massive datasets
• Build and implement machine learning models from design to deployment
• Translate complex work into clear business goals using strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 9 years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 7 years of data analytics experience, or a PhD plus 4 years of data analytics experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience in open-source programming languages for large-scale data analysis
• Minimum of 4 years experience with machine learning
• Minimum of 4 years experience with relational databases

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a "STEM" field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) plus 5 years of data analytics experience
• At least 1 year experience with AWS
• 2+ years in the Marketing domain
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 5+ years experience in Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis
• 5+ years experience with machine learning

Salary Information

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $274,800 - $313,600 for Director, Data Science

Note: Salaries for other locations will reflect local pay ranges. Actual salaries will be specified in the candidate's offer letter.
