The Opportunity

As Director of Data Architecture, you will be at the forefront of establishing and implementing top-notch data management and governance practices across Sinch. This role is crucial in shaping our strategic vision and data roadmap, focusing on data architecture essential for robust data management.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead a team to establish innovative data architecture for real-time, near-real time, and data warehousing solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Data Architecture team to align departmental strategies with enterprise-wide visions.
• Partner with senior management to craft and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
• Design and oversee scalable data architecture solutions supporting data ingestion, storage, integration, and analytics.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of optimal data models to maintain data integrity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the VP of Data Governance & Fabric Ops to uphold stringent data governance and security standards.
• Assess and recommend new data management technologies and tools to keep Sinch at the industry's cutting edge.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide high-caliber data architecture solutions.

What We Look For

• Proven experience within DCAM, DAMA, or other Data Management frameworks.
• Strong background in data architecture, modeling, and database design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field.
• Expertise in key data modeling tools and modern data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of discussing complex technical details with various stakeholders.
• Robust analytical and strategic thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
