Job Summary:
At Molina Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer to focus on efficiently collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large data sets. The successful candidate will select and implement optimal solutions for these tasks and ensure their ongoing maintenance and monitoring, aligning with our robust enterprise architecture and best practices.
• Architect and define the best possible solutions for scalable business systems.
• Develop and implement both batch and real-time data processing systems using tools like ETL, streaming, and API integrations across varied data sources and structures.
• Design, build, and optimize data solutions emphasizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data-driven solutions.
• Maintain and enhance data models for analytics and application layers.
• Leverage extensive experience with Hadoop ecosystem components (e.g., HDFS, YARN, ZOOKEEPER) for fruitful data management and analytics.
• Employ troubleshooting skills during technical issues in collaboration with infrastructure and vendor support teams.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Required Experience:
Preferred Education: Master’s degree.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
