Position: Enterprise Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary:

As an Enterprise Data Architect at Presidio, you will define and implement data strategies, architectures, and solutions to support our clients' business goals. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data requirements and design scalable and secure data architectures. Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and ensure the reliability and accessibility of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establish data quality frameworks and oversee data profiling and cleansing processes.
  • Define data storage, integration, and distribution architectures using traditional and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Partner with business intelligence teams to design data analytics solutions.
  • Define data access mechanisms for self-service analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure scalability and performance of data analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize data initiatives.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior team members.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles and technologies.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Proficiency in cloud data services on AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) as a data architect or in a similar role.
