Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to interpret and deliver strategic plans that enhance data integration, quality, and delivery to support business goals. Your role will involve aligning data solutions with business strategies, enhancing organizational information sharing, and collaborating on data management and governance with the Data, AI, and Analytics teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate strategies to maximize the value of information assets.
• Enhance decision-making and business information modeling.
• Enable effective data and analytics governance.
• Manage risks associated with data and propose strategic solutions.
• Ensure enterprise information management aligns with business outcomes.
• Secure data assets and enhance Enterprise Information Management (EIM) performance.

Measures of Success

• Demonstrable ability to engage with executives and technical staff alike.
• Experience in setting up data management frameworks, policies, and solutions.
• In-depth data modeling and classification expertise.
• Experience with data architectures supporting high data volumes and types.
• Deep understanding of cloud and hybrid data management and analytics.

Key Qualifications & Experiences

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in architecture domains and a minimum of 10 years in Enterprise Data Architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture tools and processes.
• Professional architecture certification is an asset.

Other Information

This role is based at our Global Technology Centre in Toronto, ON. Normal working hours are 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Travel may be required as per business needs. This role may involve extended hours as needed.
