The role involves data processing, stakeholder discussions, and analysis that supports the team's operations. A solid technical knowledge of data requirements in Finance processes, combined with a collaborative approach, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure robust data feeds into finance processes.
- Identify and resolve issues with data feeding into finance processes.
- Communicate necessary data remediations to IT developers.
- Document business requirements for changes in the small change portfolio.
- Perform user acceptance testing to ensure system changes meet finance needs.
- Support the finance team during system updates.
- Collaborate with finance, data, and operations teams to implement robust data controls and reporting.
- Develop testing capabilities with cross-functional teams.
- Engage with other business areas to define required finance outputs.
- Ensure clear documentation of data processing and system specifications.
