We are actively seeking an experienced Finance Data and Systems Analyst to become a vital member of our high-performing Financial Control team. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, involves expertise in Finance Systems Management, Data Architecture, Process & Testing, Project Management, and Process Improvement.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Finance Data and Systems Analyst, you will:
- Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of data, processes, and systems infrastructure to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the bank’s accounting, payments, and reporting functionalities across the wider Finance function.
- Own and implement functional training for Finance system users leveraging PeopleSoft.
- Support the team on various finance systems projects and ad-hoc requests, including the development of financial reports.
- Coordinate and execute acceptance testing methodologies.
- Deliver comprehensive finance project management, consistently engaging with our technology and global teams.
- Document critical business requirements, systems architecture, and processes.
- Monitor data and processes to guarantee the integrity and efficiency of Finance outputs.
- Manage Accounts Payable and General Ledger, maintaining accounts and cost centers.
- Act as the primary contact for users regarding issues with PeopleSoft.
- Develop and maintain Business Objects Reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Extensive experience in developing test plans and test scripts, with a background in end-to-end functional testing activities.
- Highly analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong lateral thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger or as a functional consultant with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, specifically versions HCM 8.9, 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2.
- Proficiency in SQL/VBA or additional programming languages (nice to have).
- Solid working knowledge of RDBMS (SQL, PL/SQL), and programming proficiency in PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and Application Packages.
- Excellent report writing skills, with proven experience in Agile Ways of Working.
- A desire to learn and succeed, coupled with a positive, proactive 'can-do' attitude.
- The ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work on concurrent projects with solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
