Position Overview: Finance Data Scientist

Are you passionate about data science and analytics? We are seeking a Finance Data Scientist who will apply and inspire the adoption of advanced data science and analytics across our business. This role is crucial for driving our evolution into an analytical and data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Warehousing (20%): Utilize tools such as SQL, R, Python and Data Warehouse methodologies.
• Statistics/Mathematics (20%): Conduct statistical analysis, third-party data integration, hypothesis testing, correlation, multivariate regression, and both predictive and prescriptive modeling.
• Business Responsibilities (20%): Collaborate with finance colleagues to identify and resolve data-related problems, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
• Analytics (20%): Analyze complex, high-volume, multi-dimensional data to develop data-driven products.
• Data Visualization and Communication (20%): Effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We Are Looking For:

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Master's/Postgraduate Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Technical knowledge in Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Proficiency in English is a must (Spanish not required).
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
