Salary: £24,000 to £34,800 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6B)

Location: Manchester city centre, with hybrid working options.

Role Overview

In this role, you'll support the optimisation of our financial master data processes, aiding in better decision-making and improved financial performance. You'll be involved in the development and completion of the financial master data roadmap, including SAP Data Dimensions and hierarchies. Join us during this exciting transformation as we implement SAP S4 HANA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement a standardized master data model for Co-op's finance master data.
  • Collaborate with various finance teams to ensure the data model meets their needs and facilitates efficient financial processing in SAP systems.
  • Ensure timely processing of all departmental work.
  • Challenge and action master data set-up and amendment requests after verification.
  • Assist in producing and reviewing process documentation.
  • Train and support new and existing team members.
  • Establish governance frameworks for ongoing management of financial master data, implementing controls to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve customer service and colleague experience.

What We’re Looking For

This role is for you if you have:

  • Experience in maintaining and mastering SAP finance data.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S4 HANA.
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss challenges with relevant colleagues.
  • Brilliant analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
