We are looking for a smart, driven, analytically minded data scientist to consult and compliment our highly sophisticated performance marketing agency. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and creating actionable insights/reports to help our teams make better data-driven decisions. By using techniques including data analysis, computer programming, mathematics, and statistics, you will draw conclusions from this analysis to describe, predict, and improve our client’s business performance.
Responsibilities:
Regression Analysis
- Run across client data sets in order to help predict performance
- Run diminish returns analysis to understand if incremental increases will result in similar gains
Forecasting Analysis
- Help create forecasting levels for media spend across multiple channels
- Help create models around specific client KPI amounts (i.e. forecasting conversions and revenues over time)
- Run propensity to perform analysis to understand the likelihood of success with limited data
Correlation Analysis
- Run across a multitude of metrics to understand if metric performance is related
- Perform proxy analysis to understand what various metrics need to be at in order to reach client goals
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of data science experience, marketing capacity preferred
- Excellent skills in Google, Excel
- Experience with Python, R, a plus
- Understanding of real-time data feed, building models, and using them to help make predictions and decisions
- Proven experience with large-scale data management, creating pipelines, and extracting insights from large data sets
