About the Role: Full Stack Data Scientist in Pune, India

As a Full Stack Data Scientist based in Pune, you'll join our cross-functional team to enhance our statistical modeling and machine learning capabilities. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Science, you will champion AI initiatives, focusing on optimizing business processes and improving decision-making through data. Your role involves data exploration, feature engineering, and ML model development, working closely with teams across Workday to operationalize models effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead ML project lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop, test, and implement ML models to detect anomalies and enhance process efficiencies.
• Run experiments to refine models and validate hypotheses.
• Educate and evangelize AI and ML principles across business units.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to navigate project challenges and engineer solutions.

About You: A Curious, Driven Data Science Expert

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a creative mindset, adept at addressing complex data challenges. With at least 4 years of experience in machine learning, you are skilled in Python, R, SQL, and familiar with leading analytical and ML frameworks. Your ability to communicate complex data science concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in driving understanding and adoption of AI technologies.
