Join Our Team as a Group Cloud Data Predictor at DP World

We're seeking a seasoned Group Cloud Data Architect to guide our team in managing and maximizing data utilization within DP World. If you are experienced with cloud data architectures, particularly in Azure, and are adept at transforming business requirements into robust technical solutions, we would love for you to apply.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Management: Define, document, and manage how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across various IT systems and entities within the organization. Lead the development and implementation of data documentations, structures, flows, and infrastructure.

System Development Support: Facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of data archiving jobs. Configure systems, draft detailed specifications, and support the creation of custom programs to automate solutions that meet business demands.

Collaboration and Oversight: Work alongside internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system development necessities. Oversee the cleansing, consolidation, and correlation of diverse data forms, and maintain cloud architecture.

Strategic Initiatives: Engage in initiatives such as feasibility studies, system designs, and the deployment of new technologies, particularly in Azure and various cloud solutions.

Cost Management: Monitor and optimize spending on data platforms, ensuring products are developed within budget and align with DP World's financial standards.

Representation and Compliance: Represent DP World standards by embracing and embodying the organization's core values and codes of conduct, with a high commitment to safety and ethics in all operational aspects.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Azure Certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-303-AZ-304, DP200, and DP201 will be beneficial.

Experience:

• 8-12 years of experience in data applications, with substantial exposure to architecture and design in cloud environments, ideally Azure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure sectors.

Technical Skills:

• Proven capability in architecting and implementing cloud-based data solutions, with a particular focus on Azure Data Analytics technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in machine learning, data lake architecture, big data tools, and cloud security measures.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Spark, Python, Scala, PySpark, and Terraform, alongside experience in working with relational and NoSQL databases.
