Job Description

Publicis Sapient is on the hunt for a Hadoop Data Architect to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You will cooperate with high-level technologists to drive real business results for our enterprise clients by transforming their needs into solutions that offer valuable insight. Employing the latest data technologies in the field, you will play an essential role in assisting the world’s most established brands to evolve for a more digital future.

Your Impact:

• Play a significant role in delivering data-driven interactive experiences to our clients
• Collaborate closely with our clients in comprehending their needs and transforming them into technology solutions
• Serve as a technical expert to address complex business issues that lead to data integration and database systems designs
• Solve problems to deal with issues and eliminate obstacles throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
• Ensure all deliverables are of high quality by establishing development standards, adhering to these standards and engaging in code reviews
• Participate in integrated validation and analysis sessions of components and subsystems on production servers

Qualifications

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in enterprise-level data platforms involving the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines
• Excellent communication and willingness to work as a team
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the leading public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Work experience on Cloudera Hadoop (a minimum of 5 years' experience with Cloudera)
• Data engineering experience with a Java background
• Solid experience with open-source tech stack (Apache Spark, HDFS, Trino, Iceberg)
• Work experience with various file formats like Avro, Parquet
• Schema management, table formats like Iceberg
• Query engines – Dremio, Pinot

Additional Information

Pay Range:$123,000 -$170,000
