You Have:

• Experience in data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• Professional experience in data science, statistics, or machine learning
• Experience with large and disparate datasets, including developing data queries and data models
• Proficiency with languages or tools such as SQL, R, Python, or Microsoft Power BI
• Experience in building and tuning algorithms using common data cleaning and machine learning techniques
• Knowledge of healthcare data, healthcare system operations, health plans, and medical groups
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms using R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with visualization packages like Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Knowledge of data management and data infrastructure tools and techniques
• Familiarity with public data sources for healthcare provider KPIs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to derive insights from unstructured healthcare data
• Strong initiative and proactive problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including explaining analyses to various audiences
• Master’s degree
