Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic client services and product delivery teams. Your role will focus on developing data solutions for our healthcare performance measurement and analytic web applications, aimed at optimizing the quality and cost-efficiency of hospital and specialty care.

We're looking for technically adept, well-organized, and excellent communicators to facilitate product delivery. This involves designing analytic plans, preparing datasets, validating data quality, performing analytic programming, and effectively interpreting and communicating findings to stakeholders.

If you possess strong SQL and SAS programming skills, problem-solving capabilities, and exceptional communication abilities, we want to hear from you. Our clients include hospitals, health systems, collaborative quality initiatives, professional societies across various surgical specialties, health plans, and accountable care organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze large datasets, including clinical registries, administrative data, billing claims, insurance data, and more.
• Develop clear and well-structured analytic plans.
• Create efficient, reusable code for data manipulation and analysis.
• Build and validate statistical models for performance improvement.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding analytic data processing.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data manipulation and analysis using SAS and SQL.
• At least 2-3 years of analytic programming experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to assess technical challenges, program solutions, and solve complex problems.
• Proven history of working in collaborative team environments with flexibility in handling multiple projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Record of academic and/or business achievement.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information, Operations Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, IT, or Computer Science.

This remote position is open to U.S. residents, excluding applicants in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. The salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000 USD annually.
